| British granny celebrated her centenary
British pensioner Winnie Langley celebrated her centenary, lighting a 170 th cigarette in her life with the candle on holiday cake, as Daily Mail reported. Langley began to smoke when it was reported about the beginning of the First World War in 1914. She was seven years old at that time. Since that time, the woman has been smoking five cigarettes per day.
As Winnie said, smoking helped her to survive during two world wars, and also death of her husband Robert and son Donald, who died two years ago at the age of 72.
Besides, as Langley says, she has not been seriously ill because of smoking habit and she is not going to quit smoking.
